I love watching people learn to love the water. Whether you or your child is fearful or already love the water, the lessons are designed to help you get the most out of your water experience.
Swimming lessons reduce risks of drowning
Drowning is one of the leading causes of death for children and preventable in many cases. According to CDC.gov, formal swim lessons can reduce the risk of children drowning by up to 88 percent. This is crucial for parents with children ages 1 – 4 because that is the age range that children are most at risk.
II’ll teach your child how to swim back to the wall and exit the pool in case of an emergency. Safety is my #1 priority in teaching kids to swim.
Swimming is a skill that can be used for a lifetime
Because of the unique properties of water, swimming is an excellent, low-impact form of exercise. The buoyancy of water provides for a freedom of movement that works all muscle groups with near weightlessness. It is amazing to see the things that people can do in water which they cannot do on land!
